From checkin to check out every single staff member was exceptional. I called a few days prior to my trip to get some recommendations for things to do in the area and I was assisted by Briana who was a delight to speak to, upon check in Andrea was absolutely fantastic and was able to accommodate us earlier which was great after traveling since 4am. When needing items for our room such as blankets and a heater their were two lovely ladies who were working the evening shift Friday night that were so helpful and got me and my sister a heater and blanket to our room within a few minutes after me returning to the room, their were two kind gentlemen who brought us our first blanket Friday afternoon when we checked in whom I didn’t get his name and then another one who provided us with the heater and additional blanket that evening, upon returning from our adventures we were always greated with a smile and kind words which made this place feel like a home away from home. Check out was absolutely painless thank you to the gentleman who held the door for my sister and I as we were rolling our bags out to meet our ride. This was hands down the best experience at a hotel I’ve ever had and I look forward to coming back next year!

As soon as we walked in we were greated by the staff members. Every memeber was so nice and welcoming, answered any and all question we had. We didnt have many but it was still nice. The hotel is cozy and cute its definitely an older building but that gives the place its charm. They serve wine and cheese for happy hour, our first night there we came back to the hotel after it was over but the gentleman was so nice that he went back to pour us a glass of wine. This is mot my first time in DC but my first time at this hotel, everyone was very attentive and nice we will definitely be staying again. Not to mention we were only a 10 minutes or so drive from center city and about a 10 minute walk from 18th street which has a ton of restaurants, bars and a great night life. Only issue may be parking, but this was expected they sent welcome email and let us know that parking was first come first serve so this was to be expected. The hotel is in more of a residential area which is beautiful area and again close to down town. If you like riding scooter or a bike I definitely suggest you pick one up and take a nice ride to the inner city it was such a great time.

Lovely boutique hotel in a quiet street right off a main street in a super convenient area. So many bars and restaurants close by within walking distance! Our room had all the amenities we needed and was clean. All the staff were lovely, although the poor lady at check out was by herself trying to handle 3+ people at a time. The decor is tasteful and stylish, although whoever installed some of it didn't believe in the use of a level, many door handles and faucets were crooked 😅 not a make or break issue but I thought it was entertaining. Wine hour every day is a really nice touch, just one red and white to choose from, for free who's complaining! Beware of parking if you drive. It's valet only for $45/night, otherwise street parking is 2 hour limit during daytime hours. For the cleanliness, style and friendly staff I enjoyed our stay.

We liked the cosy atmosphere, the friendly staff, the continental breakfast, and the location. They were very professional, taking care of us beyond their responsibilities. There was a really rude guest checking in before us, and they not only apologised for the inconvenience having had a bad first impression which was absolutely not their fault, on the contrary, they managed to remain very professional, even when this person was not polite with them, but also offered a compensation. This was a very remarkable sign of courtesy.

For what almost seemed like a boutique hotel, the room was surprisingly large. The room features all worked well: shower, TV, wifi, bed, pillows. The small sunken patio at the front of the hotel was very pleasant, especially at wine hour; I had some interesting, unexpected conversations there. I don't think I've been at a hotel where the staff seemed so happy to be working there and were having a good time. There was no corporate feel to the place at all.
